As a Jungian psychotherapist with over 30 years experience, I seek to bring balance and more harmony between the conscious and unconscious parts of the mind. I work with the shadow (which we tend to hide) and when faced through our dreams, our dislikes and reactions can transform into new insights and release blocked energies. Slowly over time, new patterns emerge and our pain bodies feel safer and a new trust develops between our inner and outer life. My work endeavours to help heal the body/soul split and part of this work involves the language of the body. By paying attention to body sensations and feelings over a period of time, a client’s knowing crystalizes and they begin to trust and honour the signals emerging with their body. Giving expression to these feelings further helps the validity of its wisdom.
Parallel to my work with clients is my own ongoing work with myself. When I soften and keep meeting the miracles and challenges of life, it helps me to bow down and touch the kindness in myself. As a result, I have in the deepest space inside a constant longing of belonging, where lies contentment that universal quality that awaits us all. Meeting and sharing these moments with another allows love to pour through, sacredness is alive. Central to how I work is breathwork which supports a focused alignment, allows the mind to quieten and opens a window of possibilities for our body and its nervous system, bringing calmness through. Dreamwork also assists me in guiding my work. They offer deep insights from the unconscious at pivotal moments in our lives. Also, I use a variety of movements (touch if needed), dance, sounds, shaking, resting and meditation to bring my clients closer to the intimacy of the physical body.
My passion is deep and profound supporting the freedom in another and the amazing feeling of love from me helps, soothes and supports another’s loss of connection with themselves. My own tragic loss at a young age of my mother has been my life’s journey towards the Divine.
